South Canterbury Finance has appointed Greg Pearse to the newly-created position of group treasurer.
This new position reports to the Chief Executive Officer, Sandy Maier, and will be responsible for cash management and forecasting along with other treasury functions.
The appointment of a Treasurer at South Canterbury Finance recognises the size and complexity of the business and adds breadth to the management team.
Greg Pearse is a specialist treasury manager who has a long period of experience both in New Zealand and overseas. He has developed and managed treasury activities across a range of sectors, including Banking, Agriculture and Consumer Packaging.
Pearse will initially be on a fixed term contract for three months.
