The Pacific Business Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Cordtz as Chief Executive.
Board of Trustees Chair Hamish Crooks said the Board are excited by the skills and experience that Peter brings to the organisation.
Peter is of Samoan and Maori descent. His father originates from the village of Magiagi in Samoa, and his mother has tribal affiliations with Ngati Wai and Ngati Hine.
Born in Auckland and raised in Mangere Peter attended Mangere College, then completed a four year applied science degree at Massey University in Palmerston North.
At the completion of his studies Peter worked in Hawkes Bay before returning to Auckland in 1995 with his wife to raise their three sons.
Peter worked in the Sports, Fitness and Recreation Industry Training Organisation (SFRITO) as an Industry Advisor specialising in Sport and Pasifika traineeships and then as Industry Liaison Manager before progressing his career as the General Manager for the Rugby League Foundation.
His most recent position held over the past seven years was as General Manager of New Zealand Rugby League.
