Neville leaves

The former chief operating officer at INL, Rick Neville, has left his role as chief executive of Advertiser Newspapers after joining the company last year.

A statement from News Ltd said Mr Neville had accepted the Adelaide position to work with News Ltd but had a medium term plan to return to INL.

"The sale of INL's publishing business [to Fairfax] means that option no longer exists," Mr Neville said.

"My wife and I have decided to re-establish ourselves in New Zealand now, where all our family links are, rather than wait to do it at some stage in the future."
