The company's new projects with Transit New Zealand are for two contracts worth $34 million covering state highways in Waikato and the Coromandel, and a $36 million contract million covering highways in coastal Otago.
Earlier this month Downer won a $100 million ten-year state highway construction and maintenance contract for the 710km Northland highway network.
The Northland highway contract is the largest single contract of its kind ever awarded by Transit New Zealand.
Downer Group Limited operates a number of businesses including infrastructure maintenance, engineering, construction, telecommunications, mining and resource services.
