The number of registered banks in this country rose to 20, with the registration of a fully-owned subsidiary of Bank of India, the Reserve Bank says.
Information at the Companies Office showed the newly-registered bank had changed its name to Bank of India (New Zealand) from BOI (New Zealand) which was incorporated under the Companies Act in October 2008.
