Online accounting software company Xero has appointed a Microsoft executive to lead its growth in Australia.
Chris Ridd had worked in the Australian information technology industry for more than 20 years, the past 15 years at Microsoft, Xero said today.
Most recently Ridd was director of the Microsoft Dynamics business group for Australia, managing a team of 22 staff.
Xero said it had a growing team of account managers and sales staff across several Australian states and recently opened a head office in Melbourne.
