The system, which will be installed in a New South Wales club, Wentworthville Leagues, across all of its 330 poker machines, is the only card-based gaming system approved for sale in NSW.
The club says surveys have shown that nearly 60% of people believe EPS will help them better control and manage their gaming expenditure.
eBet has also signed the sale of its first system to a hotel and says Reserve Hotels will install the system initially at their Sylvania property in Sydney.
Reserve Hotels spokesman, Arthur Balayannis, says the company is impressed by the security benefits of card-based gaming.
"Armed hold-ups have become a serious issue for gaming venues with lives threatened and lost all too frequently. Card-based gaming w ill significantly reduce the amount of cash held on premises and enable what cash is held to be better secured."
eBet boss Keith Cullen says the system was received enthusiastically at last month's Australasian Gaming Expo and the company is now in negotiations with literally dozens of other NSW clubs and hotels representing well in excess of ten thousand machines.
He says many more sales are anticipated in coming months.
"eBet has a clear first-mover advantage and with sales now underway we believe that the significant investment that we have made in the development and testing of EPS will be rewarded with excellent returns for our shareholders."
