SBS Bank has appointed Phil Gausel as the new manager of its Blenheim branch.
SBS says Gausel has had a whirlwind courtship since joining the Blenheim team as a banking consultant last October and has now officially taken over the role left vacant following the departure of Brian Dawson in January.
Gausel has had a varied career with a larger, foreign-based trading bank, which included branch manager roles in Te Aroha and Paeroa and more recently in Blenheim in a business banking role.
SBS Bank general manager retail Paul Atkinson says Gausel will bring terrific experience, numerous community interests and the enthusiasm from his recent transition to the new experience and culture of SBS Bank with him to the new role.
"Following on from the fantastic work with SBS Bank in Blenheim over the past six years by our former manager Brian Dawson, we know Phil has already built a great relationship with his Blenheim team.
"We know he will enjoy developing these relationships even further with customers and community sponsorships."
