Rua Bioscience (NZX: RUA ) today announced the resignation of Chief Financial Officer, Hamish White, effective 30 June 2023. The company is incredibly grateful for the contributions he has made during his tenure and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
"The Board would like to express our appreciation to Hamish for his dedication and passion. Hamish has been with Rua since the beginning and was one of Rua’s first employees. As CFO, he successfully helped the company navigate the NZX listing and has been a key contributor in establishing Rua as a leading company in the medical cannabis industry," said Rua Bioscience Chairman, Trevor Burt.
Rua Bioscience CEO, Paul Naske, says “Hamish has been part of New Zealand’s medical cannabis industry from its inception. He has played a critical role in steering the company through the New Zealand regulations and maximising the global commercial opportunities presented by this growth industry. We wish Hamish all the best for the next stage of his career. We thank him and his family for their massive contribution to Rua’s kaupapa.”
The company will put a transition plan in place and will seek a suitable replacement to continue Rua’s future development.
