There's enough information floating around on the internet to decide whether China's likely to slowdown and the USA likely to boom, without repeating all the details again. The fact that stock and commodity prices fluctuate wildly based on rumours, such as pending US interest rate rises and the slowdown of China's economy, clearly highlights there's plenty of money to be made by starting and spreading rumours, especially from the top. Take a look at the world today and use some common sense. China has a stated policy to become a world nuclear/financial superpower, and play around in space by going to the moon/mars just like the big boys. More and more countries are also importing China's products in ever increasing volumes. Does that sound like an economy heading towards slowdown? On the other hand, the USA has enormous debt/derivative problems, a grossly overvalued stock market, and global popularity/hatred issues. Does that sound like an economy ready to boom? The only meltdown with China will relate to what I posted over a year ago (Jan 31 2003) regarding our troubled world. "The USA's plan is to remove Iraq, then control all of the Middle East oil, then nuke China to ensure the ongoing strength of the Western Empire. I don't expect they'll nuke China this year, but probably within a few years." To summarise: Global hatred for the USA is spreading/increasing, global terrorism is increasing, USA debt is increasing, the USA dollar is likely to tumble again soon, nuclear conflict is becoming more likely, and China is continuing to boom. The big picture before the big meltdown will be rising nickel, copper, silver and gold prices. Take advantage of this panic/rumour volatile time to buy and/or top up your quality mining stocks. Some obvious quality/potential stocks are IGO, OXR, PNA, RNG, RSN and more. Boom, Boom times ahead, in more ways than one.
