[sharechat] English tax credits

I know that I can claim overseas witholding tax (from both Australia and 
the UK) towards the tax I pay in New Zealand.

I know that (last year) I cannot claim Australian franking credits in New 
Zealand.

But, what about UK tax credits?  Can I claim those?

I know what answer you will give me.  

"I should talk to my accountant."    

But the problem is I just did and I think, unless I heard wrong, I got 
conflicting advice!
