Telstra’s Kiwi operation wins prisons contract TelstraClear has won a A$25 million contract to provide a full range of managed telecommunications services to the New Zealand Department of Corrections. Under the terms of the deal the department will move to a fully managed converged services solution that will deliver national voice and data services over a converged IP network. The services will be provided to 230 sites with more than 4500 users, a spokesman said. Telecom NZ had provided services to the department since its formation in 1995. |
