Further suggestion: hit your DELETE if a posting doesn't measure up. 
Better still, most email clients have filters so you can automatically 
send some poster's posts directly to hell. At least one subscriber 
takes this approach with attachments.

Trouble is, there is such a wide range of reasons why people subscribe 
to this list. If you want a list with a higher signal:noise ratio, 
start a specialised list yourself maybe?

Personally, I think this is a good idea. I usually do this myself, but 
am guilty of inconsistency.
