I have researched SKG and been tracking for some time now
for
significant news such as was released last Friday. My understanding is: Roll out of wireless hotspots in Singapore includes McDonalds restaurants. GRIC is a global leader in WIFI access aggregation and provides remote internet connectivity to millions of mobile and remote workers worldwide, and more than 1,600 corporate customers (including Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies). GRIC's customers and resellers (customer base and distribution network) includes more than 300 leading service providers and carriers worldwide. Skynet's business model, therefore; is utilising the resources and skills of providers and resellers with established networks, customer bases, etc. This is an extremely cost-effective means of getting product to market. Skynet's new agreement with GRIC Communications for the provision of wireless broadband access to GRIC's customers worldwide (direct with GRIC and indirect through GRIC's resellers) is a significant milestone.
