But is it really some use? Unless you can show the "industrial" use of gold is greater than the production of gold (currently being ramped up in all directions) you are only doing a disservice flogging the old gold dead horse. Which countries are going back onto the goldstandard/ making gold their currency? The international policy is still to phase gold out as a reserve holding. Doesn't a large part of the gold spiral simply reflect the downward spiral of the US and the price of gold is quoted in US$..... Unsophisticated corrupt 3rd World elites dive into gold as a "safe haven" but presumably they will slowly become more sophisticated and the corruption will get cleaned up.
