It has also been said that Microsoft is the worst virus of
all with programmes continuously in need of patches to repair security concerns
and operating holes.
Perhaps it was Microsoft programmes that made the holes in
World.com and Enron etc??
Question:
Should investors in equities have information
on the computer operating systems used by companies as part of the
investors risk analysis for investment decisions? Could be a bit like the
question, "who is on the Board"?

Somebody said that Microsoft Outlook "makes a simple concept
like email into a complicated, inefficient security nightmare."
I'd
have to agree.

There appears to be a virus doing the
rounds in the sharechat group at the moment - a variant of the Melissa
virus. While fairly harmless it can cause problems to Word templates

programmes - there is a patch available to fix the hole (A Bill Gate's
Straw?? - handy for buckets also) directly from Microsoft Update. A
good virus checker will also get it (provided you don't turn it off to speed
up database type programmes like I
did)./fontfamily>
