Hi all
As you probably know I live in Hamilton. The fieldday numbers haven't hit the press yet but the rumour has it,it was a record attendance on wednesday. I can beleive it, It's a night mare getting from a to b. Although traffic snarl ups are typical of fielddays week it does seem a little worse this year. Whether farmers are here for a good time or are here to spend, nobody will know for a little while yet.
Cheers
oop

Thanks for that Mick, and I left the last paragraph because I think that is the important one for investors in the rural servicing industries. I believe the chances are looking better and better that those high dividend payouts from those rural servicing shares will be maintained.
I noticed WRI broke through $1.20 yesterday and the upward move is sticking. Perhaps that will go some way to silencing the rural doubters on this forum. Gross yield still over 14% even at $1.22! Certainly a portfolio share that no income investor should be without I would have thought.
What was that price you were going to get back into Wrightson at Mick?
90c wasn't it ;-) ?

happy to be on board, holding WRI
