Just browsing through the interim report. It notes on page 5 in relation to Sky Alpine Queenstown that despite continuing efforts they were not able to report a satisfactory financial result. The EBIT loss has been reduced to $298k for the half year. Then comes the classic comment:- "Inevitably, the decision of the Casino Control Authority to award two Casino licences in Queenstown will continue to make it difficult for either operator to achieve a satisfactory return on their investment." So the award of a licence forced them to build a casino? Bit of buck passing methinks. Rockbottom Discl.
