Hi Morgy, > >I find it amazing that you were able to deduce all this from the >same post I read. I quote Travis again > >"Technical analysts have developed over many years a >sophisticated Delphic phrasing system that enables >them to sound like they are deeply insightful on a >stock's progress when in fact almost everything they >say is an each way bet" > >Not only techies eh ! > >I'm sure if what you wrote was what he meant, he would have wrote >that. In fact what you have written is clearly not the same, have >another read Harry, Nice spin doctoring though Harry. > > Oh, so you didn't want to hear what Travis meant. You were just annoyed at being slagged off as a T/A disciple. Well why didn't you say so! I have the advantage of having had verbal interchanges with Travis on another forum Morgy, well before Travis showed up here. So while I don't profess to speak for him, I do have some insight into the angle he was coming from. And I think I made a fair fist of explaining it. Warren Buffett was a great student of Ben Graham, but developed Graham's ideas and moved on. That is what I was trying to explain, and no that information doesn't follow on from what Travis posted. I don't do parrot posts. I only post if I have something new to add. To this end I was just filling you in a bit more on the background picture. And to post a rebuttal to your well reasoned argument. If you don't want to hear it, that's fine. But this is a public forum so I thought that others might.
