Sorry Gordon, I read mine through direct email from sharechat (Outlook Express), hence my reference to the envelopes. When I went to the sharechat site, they were blue until I read them, then they turned grey. I don't think I can be of much help.

Thanks for the reply,Shares, I am also running IE6. Not sure about what you mean re "side envelopes open or closed". I go to the side bar which says"Latest Forum Posts". Then click on "Messages by Date" All the messages are there in the same shade of grey. The unread messages are not highlighted. Regards, Gordon
