These guys are an Australian based company with an office in Wellington. They were initially Futures brokers for many years and recently got into equities. My experience with them as Futures brokers was very good.

 

I am unsure about the advertisement that you saw, perhaps they are running some education courses regarding trading. If it is the same company, then you have very little to worry about regarding their integrity. Just look at the opportunity specifically as an educational opportunity, rather than an instant success formula.

 

You can usually learn one or two good things from every seminar, to save a few percent next time you invest might be worth it. Just have a look at what they’re offering and avoid the temptation to look for the magic bullet.

 

And also avoid comments like those provided by “gooner”
