Re: [sharechat] Investment newsletters
I'm familiar with most NZ newsletters - Headliner, McEwen, Cornell. It
basically boils down to what you want. Reading material or action. Longer
term or shorter term. I'm not too fussed on the long term at the moment or
reading, but the Headliner makes reasonable reading. The others tend to be
just waffle, which is free in any daily newspaper.
There's a free NZ investor newsletter website which is more action than
reading, and shorter term rather than longer term, and performs much better
than the above newsletters (including most others that I've come across
overseas), so when they release their traders website which I assume will
have a fee, we might see even greater profits for Kiwi's.
Their newsletter website is http://www.fairshare.co.nz
They also provide an interim email alert update as necessary. All round it's
very good value.
At the moment FairShare Investments have an excellent gold portfolio running
hot, but my last email from them suggested/implied/advised that there will
be some excellent traditional investments up ahead once the US economic and
world geopolitical troubles settle. It's just a matter of time, and waiting
patiently.
