[sharechat] Old wounds?

Holden,
My advice is not to buy in to the FA versus TA debate. It is a fruitless
pursuit. The very best you can hope for is some level of grudging respect
between proponents, such as Snoopy and I have. (I think!)
Have you read the book "What works on Wall Street"? The author (James P.
O'Shaughnessy) found that strategies combining value and momentum work
superbly, outperforming either of these approaches used alone. Use both TA and
FA. There is no need whatsoever to limit yourself to one or the other.
If you are interested in the old battles, or the respective arguments, I
suggest you take a look at the old TLS thread of around June last year. Both
sides gave this one their best shot, in my opinion.
       Regards,
                 Phaedrus.
