The next ShareChat Investor Interview is with the Fletcher Challenge Forests
CEO, Terry McFadgen.

Fletcher Challenge Forests (FCF) supplies solid wood product solutions to
all major markets in the Pacific Rim and North America. FCF services
non-commodity market segments such as retail home centres and specialty
re-manufacturers and builders, as well as the traditional home construction
and industrial end users. FCF also supplies the traditional log markets in
New Zealand and Asia.

FCF has signed an agreement with the Receivers of the CNI Forest Partnership
to acquire the forest and processing assets of that partnership. The
combined forests will represent one of the best plantation forest estates in
the world, and together with the associated manufacturing capabilities, will
provide the platform for FCF to be a pre-eminent supplier of solid wood
forest products to customers throughout the Pacific Rim countries. A special
meeting of shareholders will be held mid August 2002, to vote on this
proposal.

Terry McFadgen will answer questions from ShareChat participants on this
proposal and the company's general business outlook.
