Hi nick > >I wasn't going to bother. I have beaten this drum enough. Although >I would have thought selling in the face of world uncertainty is >very discipined. Never mind - Snoopy and I will have to agree to >disagree. > > Hey that's OK Nick. I wasn't necessarily trying to covertly 'convert' you! There is room for opposite opinions on this forum. Remember for every seller there is a buyer. The sharemarket wouldn't have any liquidity if everyone had the same view. After I started this exchange I realised I had no specific knowledge of what your investments are anyway. Perhaps you are holding the type of shares that I wouldn't hold in the first place. So maybe in saying you will sell all your investments you are just making the same decision as I would make given the same circumstances. Our views might be more similar than you think. There is one point that I would substantially disagree with you on though. I prefer to buy in times of uncertainty, as I feel I am more likely to get a bargain that way. You say sell and I say buy. I guess that what makes a market!
