virus from the UK
I would *really* appreciate it if people stopped sending these virus
emails to the Forum. The vast majority of them are hoaxes and if you
follow them you can actually disable/damage your machine.
First double check with a company like Norton or do a Google search
before informing others. Chances are, they will be a hoax
And what do you know, this *is* a hoax - check here for more info:
Checking first will take two seconds of your time, will possible stop
people from damaging their machines and will stop irrelevant
clutter.

I have been alerted to a virus which I have since found and deleted,
and which affects everyone in my address book so please can you follow
the instructions at the end to see if you have been contaminated and
to delete it. The virus is called jdbgmgr.exe and is not detected by
Norton McAfee or Sophos antivirus systems. The Virus stays quiet
for 14 days before damaging the system. It is sent automatically by the
Messenger and by the address book, WHETHER OR NOT YOU SENT E-MAILS
to your contacts.
Here's what to do:
1 Go to start, Find or Search option
2 In the files/folder option, write the name Jdbgmgr.exe
3 Be sure you search in your C:drive
4 Click "find now"
5 The virus has a little bear icon with the name jdbgmgr.exe DO
NOT OPEN
6 Right click and delete it (it will then go to the Recycle Bin)
7 Go to the Recycle Bin and delete is there as well, or empty the
bin
IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS YOU MUST CONTACT ALL THE PEOPLE IN YOUR
ADDRESS BOOK SO THEY CAN ERADICATE IT IN THEIR OWN ADDRESS BOOKS
