Telecom's latest quarterly results yet again are a demonstration of a well run company enjoying sound, careful management. One must question if the 'experts' will finally give Telecom some credit for continuing to be a consistent good performer for its shareholders, within a difficult and dynamic environment. Normally this would lead to a firming of the share price. Instead we should expect another panapoly of un-named 'analysts' casting aspersions on the veracity of Telecom's results. Expect more exaggerated reports about market calls for major asset devaluations, (unsubtantiated) reports about the impending dismissal of certain senior managers, doubts about whether Telecom will be able to hold onto certain major accounts, gloomy predictions regarding Telecom's future performance when it misses out on a major tender, ad nauseum etc... Perhaps real issue is, that some of the 'experts' may be having troubling accepting the premise that one Telco could be getting it right where others are spectacularly failing. Or are there other agenda's working here, that perhaps might desire Telecom's share price to remain depressed? Lets hope the reason is the latter rather than the former. http://messenger.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo!
