There is talk of gold stocks being the next dot.coms, the next bubble
market. What is needed is for gold to grab the investing publics
imagination and given the look of the gold chart and the gold stock charts
and the on-going weakness of the US dollar this seems a real possibility.
One estimate has it that if just 2% of Japanese savings went into gold,
that would use up all the gold held by the worlds central banks. (

are gold stocks out there that already have reasonable p/e ratios even
without further rises in gold prices, these would seem to be a good place
to invest right now.
