Stock Guru Competition 2002 Monthly Update - Supported by Access Brokerage

Gaming company eBet stands out as one of the best performers in the Stock
Guru competition to date, helping "Spin" take the top spot as at April 2,
2002 with a return of 16.71%.

Spin's portfolio consists of eBet (up 50%), Rubicon (up 11%), GPG (up 10%),
Dorchester Pacific (up 9%) and Ebos (up 3%). Not a drop of red ink among
the choices.

Runner up this month was "My Losers" portfolio which rose 16.34% on the back
of strong performances from eBet, Force, Fletcher Forests, and Beauty
Direct. The only loser here was Calan Healthcare, down 7%.

Third place goes to "Alpine", helped along nicely by a 42% rise in Designer
Textiles. Other winning stocks in Alpine's portfolio were Steel & Tube,
Fletcher Forests and Taylors. Wrightson dropped the ball though, falling
4%. The overall portfolio was up by 14.5%.

At the other end of the spectrum "The Flying Woodsman" has come unstuck due
to the portfolios reliance on tech stocks, including CommSoft Group,
E-cademy, ITC and Spectrum. Troubling times at fishing company Seafresh
also pushed down this portfolio, which has lost 33% for the year to date.

The clear winner among the brokers is CS First Boston. Its choice of
Briscoe Group, Force, GPG, Nuplex and Sky TV has risen 10.37% for the year
so far, well ahead of J B Were which is second with a 3% rise.

Taking an overall look at the stocks included in the portfolios BIL
International stands out with a whopping 59% increase however only four
people chose this stock. eBet's 50% jump in price is almost as impressive
and is followed by Designer Textiles, up 42%.

Biggest losers for the year to date are Seafresh, down 42%, Apple Fields,
down 41%, and Utilico, also down 41%.

We trust you are all enjoying keeping an eye on your Stock Guru portfolios
and will send another update at the beginning of May.

Best regards
