Good stuff,Gerry.
You'll be pleased to learn that this morning the FTSE announced the addition
of MIG to the FTSE Asia Pacific index with a weighting of 1.03%.Tracking
funds must reweight by Friday 15 March 2002.
Now that 1.03% equates to 42 million shares or nearly 13 day's trading to be
acquired over the next 6 & a bit trading days.1.5b shares on issue so nearly
3% of the market must be bought by tomorrow week.
Last time MIG moved up into an index (ASX100?)it ran to just under $4.00.
I'm expecting large volume ,price pressure and profits in the week ahead.
