[sharechat] CommSoft Group - Investor Interview
The next Investor Interview is with CommSoft MD (NZSE: CSG), Mark Lunt.
CommSoft is a telecommunications software company that floated on the market
in September 2000 but has been severely punished after suffering debtor
problems in 2001. The company is looking to turn its business around and
has announced a number of positive steps so far this year, including a push
into the US market. CommSoft has three products in its lineup which help
companies to manage telephone or internet use - Callmaster, Netmaster and
Cellmaster - while its fourth offering, Brains, is a customer relationship
management tool. Major shareholder, Strathmore (NZSE: SMR), recently
announced it was selling its stake in CommSoft and other investee companies
to concentrate on just one business. At the start of 2002 CommSoft announced
a rights issue although this has subsequently been put on hold. The
company's website is: http://www.commsoft.co.nz
