Re: [sharechat] Books on Japanese Candlesticks
Phaedrus,
Aha - actually if I had a choice I wd pick
Greg Morris. Concise is how I found it. The
Australian primer is very much the first Seminar by Dan Gramza but the
excellent workbook given to attendees by him wd be more extensive - thus I
wish he'd hurry up......... Steve Nison I've got also but
I'll take a look at Seiki Shimizu - don't know that one at all and I have
absolutely no objection to an extra book burdening my
bookcase.
I'll mention a book which has nothing to
do with Candlesticks but which is offering me a simple and understandable entry
to futures - whether or not I venture is another matter - COMMODITY
FUTURES AND OPTIONS. by GEORGE
KLEINMAN. I have only borrowed the book
for an insight but the lender tells me that emails to him on any part which is
not clear to the reader (ummm there wd be lots from yours truly if I
advanced further) are promptly and fully replied to.
That sounds like a great bonus.....
Cheers all Phyllis....

"Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques" by Steve Nison would be one of the
better books, at about US$55. You probably know that Steve Nison is generally
regarded as the man that brought candlesticks to the notice of the Western
world.

Explained" by Greg Morris. US$26

Japanese Chart of Charts" by Seiki Shimizu is very good, though I have not read
it. $US55.
> An hour or three spent in Borders "reading room" will
unearth many other books on this topic. This bookshop has an extensive TA
section, and their prices seem to be very competitive.
