I was away over the weekend, but when I returned I see I missed another 
entertaining discussion on technical v fundamental analysis...which worries 
me a bit. Here's a precautionary tale from the past about two people , who 
hadn't met personally, but whose  obsessions to led them down what proved to 
be an unhappy path. Finally, they had to be banned from writing any more 
letters to the newspaper, and,alas, they  ended up in the local asylum where 
they met one day and fell into a conversation.


      Chartist: "I am better than other people, you know. I can se the 
future."
      Fundamentalist: "Where did you get this great gift?"
      Chartist: "The Lord gave it to me."
      Fundamentalist: "Like hell I did!"
