Yes they have been great, especially if you bought
them at a discount to asset backing. They are now trading at a 25% premium to
asset backing. Perhaps it's time to sell the company and buy MLC Platinum
instead. It has the same management, but is a unit trust not a company. As such,
it always trades at asset backing and has more favourable tax treatment for
NZers than the listed company.
