I think I agree with you Hugh.
I did get an allocation, and for the very reasons you  give, - overcrowding
in the field etc -
I think the opportunity to make a 40% gain is all too tempting.

I am a retired Retailer -  it is a very
 difficult and fickle field

Somehow, I think greed will win -
