yesterday i was phoned by someone doing research for danone regarding my frucor bundle. the questions were quite clever in that they did not show a bias. only after 'no i hadn't sold' and 'no i didnt want to sell to danone' did she gently ask why but couched it in terms of finance. i had to initiate the offshore aspect, and volunteer as the last gasp that i still had the pip with the french (dominique prieur and alain marfart and their armed services employers). i wonder how many other small investors include this prejudice in their decision-making? i also wonder if the continued telephoning by danone (something on sharechat a couple of weeks ago?) is helping to keep the price above the danone offer? my reading was split: either the active research indicates room for further negotiation, or they are doing some widespread polling and will quit if they get too many responses like mine. any thoughts? regards, jefley ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To remove yourself from this list, please use the form at http://www.sharechat.co.nz/chat/forum/
