Peter Corrigan is possibly the single best possible person to compete
against Qantas (I'm a bit biased here :-) ) and Air NZ.  He is regarded as a
very rough operator with many conflicting business and political
motivations.  This is not a good sign for a person who has to finely manage
an enormously complex operation.

He won't be able to concentrate on the core business of running an airline
well.  If he can't run the airline *extremely* well he (and it) will fail.
