[sharechat] Gerry is NOT ramping
Hello - I thought I would have to address this because I think you are
misinterpreting Gerry, which is easy enough to do (no offense Gerry!)
because sometimes the way he words things comes across a bit ... odd. I'm
not quite sure his first language is English. (?) .. I myself am guilty of
signing off all my posts GO PTD! which is tongue in cheek, maybe not
entirely appropriate.
When he said that he requested a few posters to come to sharechat it wasn't
to ramp up PTD but because the site we usually discuss PTD went down. We
have over 5,000 posts there over the previous 1.5 years, sure quite a lot of
them are silly, conversational, jokes, etc.. but usually we give a great in
depth analysis of PTD fundamentals, long and short term technicals, day
trading advice, etc.. - if you had been following it you would have
a) made a tonne of money
b) taken Gerry's comments in context
I do realise that the unbridled enthusiasm shown by some for PTD can be
taken as "ramping" however in Gerrys defense you must realise it was taken
out of context. At the other site we are all well aware of each other, we
all go out of our way to keep up to date on company developments - we most
certainly are not rampers (you'd hardly need to be, PTD is one of the
strongest performing stocks in Australia, do some research, or look at a
chart).
Nick, you are COMPLETELY wrong about Gerry. You have no idea how wrong you
are. He busts his gut to keep people informed about developments, analysis,
whatever he can muster up to help people out. I understand your concerns
about rampers, but Gerry is not one, he certainly was not rounding up people
to come to sharechat to help ramp PTD, we were just using it temporarily
because our site was down. (then up, then down, then down down down - what
is going on, who can say)
Now that our site is up and running again, have no fear of us bothering you
or anyone else with stock recommendations.
Nick, take a piece of paper. Write down PTD closing price last Friday. In 2
weeks time look at the price. Then reply. In the meantime, I'd suggest you
re-read things. Alternatively, look at a chart of Peptech before you accuse
someone of ramping a stock that has doubled in the past few weeks.
hmmm ... 2:40am Monday morning, beachside resort, writing replies to
numbnuts in New Zealand - guess I'm just sticking up for someone who busts
his guts to help the little guys and cops a load of accusations.
Keep up the good work Gerry, I won't spend much time on this site I think.
GO PTD!
