[sharechat] Beat the Brokers October
Sorry about the delay in posting the October results but I was over in Oz
last weekend and on my return discovered major problems with my PC which
required a re format of my hard drive with all the attendant reloading of
programs and data. A better month for most portfolios with the NZSE 40
closing at 1958 compared with 1981 at the end of September.
Top Five:
Chris Castle retains his lead and looks certain now to take out the prize
unless something drastic happens to APF. Michael Yielder moves up into
second and one of the brokers, ABM AMRO, makes the top three for the first
time. Sam Mcgregor and a resurgent Roley Rackley round out the top five.
Moving up:
Chris Steptoe up 17 to 13
Phil Robinson up 17 to 18
Ted up 16 to 15
Ben Dutton up 16 to 28
Charlie Brown up 15 to 25
Gordon Brodie up 15 to34
FRU was the common factor.
Sliding Down:
Adrienne O'Sullivan down 40 to 55
Iccon down 26 to 37
Andrew Cooper down 23 to 33
Maverick down 16 to 44
Malcolm Cameron down 10 to 51
SVY and MSL were the main culprits here.
