It may interest sharechatters to know that I attended a presentation by Spectrum management organised by a certain stockbroking firm which also has a shareholding in the company around 6 months ago. I asked the question at the meeting that if Spectrum's product was so great, why hasn't one of the overseas companies bought the company since it was so cheap? Believe you me, offshore companies would have fallen over themselves to buy the company or product if the software was as good as the management would like us to believe. That certainly is the experience of almost all the IT players out there - they receive offers if they have world beating products. At the next available opportunity, try to ask Spectrum who if anybody has offered to buy the company. Anybody bother to check who has been selling out of Spectrum in recent months? Disc. Dabbled in Spectrum, Heritage Gold and Strathmore courtesy of cheap placements in year 2000. Net net, made lots of money and lost just as quickly! Learnt my lesson. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To remove yourself from this list, please use the form at http://www.sharechat.co.nz/chat/forum/
