Yes, I frequently look at the " Security Bulletins"
of:
These bulletins quoted at the bottom of the page
discuss patches/programs to fix viruses or other problems.
The numbered bulletins are applicable to a
number of operating systems and careful reading is essential to pick the
relevant bulletin for the user's operating system.
( I made arrangements with Microsoft to email me
whenever a new security bulletin comes to hand ).
As a separate item:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ can
also be useful for product updates. I installed Explorer 6 a while
ago.
Easy to install and the operation is smoother and
faster, I think. I also selected some other items from the Product
Updates.
