Ben, your post this morning would make an excellent letter to the editors of 
the major daily papers.Please consider it. It deserves more exposure.
If trading in AirNZ shares had been suspended when approaches to the Govt 
were first under-taken, much of the recent angst could have been avoided. 
Comments from Cullen and Clarke et al would have had no effect on the share 
price and once the write off of Ansett had been digested, any on-going 
liabilities established,and the recapitalisation settled on by way of a 
binding agreement, all the relevant information would be in the public 
domain and trading could recommence. Having the share price drop to 15 cents 
due to panic and then somehow relating SIA and BIL,s capital input to that 
share price as many media commentators have done,is ludicrous.
Who needs the Sky City casino when you have the NZSE.
Disc. Have made excellent returns on AIR NZ shares this week when I should 
never have been given the opportunity.
