It seems remarkable to me that with all the uncertainty and speculation surrounding AIR NZ and with a pending Board meeting which will in effect decide whether the Company continues to exist as we know it, that the NZ Stock Exchange has not supended trading in AIR NZ shares. The oportunities for insider trading are enormous. With the Govt,SIA,BIL and the rest of the Board obviously in conflict, and each with the future of the Airline in their hands, insider trading would seem to me to be a certainty. Also, how can the market be kept fully informed when the situation is so fluid? Any other civilised market would have suspended AIR NZ long ago. Roll on our wild-west market and the gutless and impotent NZSE. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.sharechat.co.nz/ New Zealand's home for market investors ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To remove yourself from this list, please use the form at http://www.sharechat.co.nz/forum.shtml.
