I totally agree with the Sharechat editor - Ben
Dutton.
There is a lot of parties to blame but the ultimate
responsibilty for the situation detiorating lies in the Government refusing to
allow an increase in foreign ownership.
When are New Zealanders going to realise that the
country is never going to improve without foreign investment.
All successful ie.USA, Ireland,
Singapore countries have actively encouraged and sought out foreign
investment to increase their employment and GDP.
Instead of seeking out multinational compnies
(quality immigrants) to invest in NZ we are seeking increasing numbers of
refugees. This makes NZ the laughing stock internationally.
If Singapore Airlines (cash rich profit makng
airline) was alllowed to increase its share in Air NZ then the company
would benefit from quality managers with a proven track record.
The Air NZ board needs to be sacked for their role
in this fiasco. Many NZers have still not forgiven them for having a rights
issue last year that was fraudlently marketed when the company knew the outlook
was not good
