Laura,

Its not entirely clear what the status of ANZUS is. Are Helen Clarks comments merely a reflection of reality that NZ was "expelled or suspended" from ANZUS many years ago or is she intending to formally write to the Aussies and USA and say due to the prolonged NZ suspension from membership ANZUS is now without the NZ ..... this will cause a major problem ... will it be AUS or USA without the NZ?? :-)
