[sharechat] This just gets better and better ...........
When you think a 300 mio loss is unbelievable try a 1
bn loss (Fletchers).
Golly golly gosh. These are big numbers.
If I were an investor in NZ I would be asking some
hard questions. Unfortunately, there are no J8's,
seniors or senior specials in finance left in any
newspapers as they have been down-sized due to lack of
investor demand for quality reporting (outside of
sport).
How long do you think it takes for a country with your
savings' rates to recover that 1.3 bn?
Now Richard Hooper, there is no shame in seeking
professional help for stress issues. Talking about
your feelings to a trained listener could be just what
you need. Try to have some joy joy time: Seriously,
enjoyed your post greatly!
The smog is not really an issue for me as I am usually
puffing on a Cuban cigar - which costs about the
average NZer's weekly food bill (they are smuggled
here).
I await with eager anticipation for the next tale of
commercial woe to emerge from your islands. Will it be
an earthquake, foot and mouth or just a big company
trading badly?
The bookies are taking bets.
