I think you are trivilising the importance of the issue. Three people are reported to have died as a result of drinking Red Bull. Now regardless as to whether the drink is to blame it is sure to have a big impact on sales of red bull, and maybe all energy drinks. All the money spent on advertising etc will not erase the memory of three deaths. Whenever someone sees a Can of Red Bull from now on chances are they will think about the deaths. There is bound to be impact on sales which will effect Frucor, how Frucor will be effected though is anybodys guess. If there is a media backlash against energy drinks in general it could be very bad news. However if the backlash is just against Red Bull it could be very positive for Frucor.
