Re my previous post of yesterday, it is just
that I like to use an international broker together with my own
reseach, when needed.
Smaller independent brokers eg.
Mainland, will have a significance as they demontrate a
willingness to either bring new small companies to the market and will make sure
that clients gets to hear about them.
That is important as we have a dearth of
companies!
Another broker did the same with Trusts
and completely changed the picture to the benefit of the country. They
also brought some small, budding wine companies to the fore!
Larger brokers tend to stay clear of these
smaller companies!
Mainland fills a gap in the market and I hope that
they will continue to perform; some chatters will like them, others will not,
that is life!
I don't think that brokers want to be too sensitive
however, it can be counter productive.
Clients must always and carefully check out any new
offerings as any listing of a previously unlisted stock has elements of
danger and opportunity built in!
The market for brokers is becoming more difficult,
I am glad that people will look after the odd independent
broker!
Let's move on to a different subject!
