This   company   still  made  a  profit  of   over  80  million   last  year  not  withstanding   the   writedown   of  the  partnership  all  is  not  lost  and  if  your  a  long  term  holder  and  can  see  the  obvious   long  term  returns  (compared  to  the  current   share  price  buy  more  !!!.  If  it   took   a  year   or   18 months   for  the  share  price  to  double     or   even  add   another  50%    i  would  say   thats  would   be  a  pretty   good  return    wouldnt  you .?

I can't find any news or announcements either.  This stock was a popular pick among brokers at the beginning of the year to be a top performer of 2001.  As I recall it was widely thought to be oversold after it's plummet last year.   I guess this might be a stock that is a difficult prospect to put a valuation to, other than that I would think the price drop is just the ebb and flow of the market.  It is very interesting to note that none of the wiser contributors to this forum responded to your question.  That in itself might be the problem, maybe noone's thinking too much about this stock at present.  FFS was a while back in Sharechat one of the most popular topics of discussion.  I think it would be very interesting NOW to hear some opinion about this company now that the separation is done and the noise has died down.   I for one would be very interested to read any comments on this company from the likes of Gerry, Peter, Snoopy et al.  

Still enjoying this forum after over a year now and learning all the time!   Michael

Would anyone care to shed some light on the recent downtrend in FFS, and more significantly FFSPA?

There don’t appear to have been any recent announcements or news related to it.

I hold these stocks long-term, so I’m not too concerned about it, but I am curious as to whether there is a reason that I’m not aware of, for this expected trend?
