Thanks, Alan!
Some of the prices quoted by me came from a
prominent NZ online book seller.
I did add that bookshop
prices can be
lower!!
It is clear that there are occasional gaps
between what an online seller charges and selected NZ book shops.
These shops cannot afford to have a slow turnover
of specialist books which tend to be in the higher priced catagory.
Thus, after they have been in the shop for a while,
they will be discounted.
The bookshops therefore are constantly looking over
their shoulder and keep in touch with the real world!
Obviously, there is room for both categories of
sellers; however in a bookshop, one can peruse the book and, without having
to wait, take it with you!
You will also get what you want and there should be
no further complaints! You won't be losing your money if the book is lost
on transit to NZ !!
And if you ask for the person in charge or
preferably, the manager and show some cash, I am sure that a deal can be done if
it concerns a higher prized item!
As I mentioned, I picked up a copy of M Buffett's
Buff. Workbook for $ 27.
